FAQ

How long does my order take to ship?

For US orders, I ship via USPS Priority shipping. Once an item reaches the post office, you will receive it within 2-5 days. Made-to-order jewelry will take 2-6 weeks to be crafted depending on the style.

Do you offer international shipping?

I currently only ship within the US. As Zoie Made grows, I plan to expand shipping to international locations. Sign up for the mailing list to be notified when Zoie Made begins shipping to your country!

What is your return policy?

Due to the made-to-order nature of my work, all sales are final. However, I understand circumstances arise. For exchange requests, contact hello@zoiemade.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Exchanges require customer-paid return shipping, a $30 recasting fee, and any price difference between items. Please return original pieces unworn, in original packaging, and in perfect condition within 7 business days of receiving the return label. As a solo artisan, I encourage you to take your time selecting the perfect piece you'll treasure for years to come!

How do I care for my jewelry?

Your jewelry is crafted from precious metals (sterling silver, 10k, or 14k gold) that naturally respond to your environment and body chemistry. With proper care, these pieces will maintain their beauty and luster.

Avoid contact with cosmetics, perfumes, and household chemicals, as these can cause tarnishing. Feel free to wear your pieces while bathing at home or in natural bodies of water - just be sure to dry them thoroughly afterward. Remove jewelry before swimming in chlorinated pools.

Pearl pieces should be worn after applying makeup, lotion, or perfume and removed before any exposure to water. Clean pearls gently with a dry, soft cloth after each wear, and keep them away from harsh chemicals.

Keep your jewelry clean by gently polishing it with the provided polishing cloth. For deeper cleaning, use warm water with mild soap, then dry completely. Sterling silver will naturally develop a patina over time, giving each piece a unique character. Store pieces in a cool, dry place when not wearing.

How do you make your jewelry?

Each piece is handcrafted using traditional techniques, ensuring every item is truly one-of-a-kind. Lost-wax casting for intricate pieces is done in partnership with skilled artisans in San Francisco and New York. Sand casting for rings is carried out in-house. These time-honored methods involve creating molds and pouring molten metal, resulting in natural variations that give each piece its own character.

The traditional casting process means no two pieces are exactly alike, making your jewelry as individual as the person wearing it. Whether it's a pendant that holds memories or a ring inspired by landscapes, you're receiving something that cannot be perfectly replicated.
